Jennifer Meador Ayers

Star Spangled Girl Instructor

Jennifer Ayers is a Birmingham native and has spent much of her life pursuing a love of the arts, including dance and music.  She has studied dance and gymnastics since the age of five with many studios, including Alabama Ballet, Children’s Dance Foundation, Jackie O’Neil, Joel Inman, and Mountain Brook gymnastics.

She is a graduate of Homewood High School where she was a member of the Star Spangled Girls dance line and the Network Show Choir.  Jennifer is a graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a degree in Choral Music Education.  She was a member of Auburn University Concert Choir and Auburn Singers.  Jennifer was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, where she was a featured soloist and dancer in the winning performance at “Greek Sing” in Auburn. Upon graduation from Auburn, Jennifer was selected to become a member of the Continental Singers where she performed throughout the United States.  Jennifer has continued her dance education by studying modern dance at Samford University and jazz and ballet at Birmingham Southern College.  She is certified and highly qualified in both choral music and dance education.

John Bradley

John Bradley is a native of Monroeville, Alabama.  He holds the Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts Degrees from the University of Alabama and Certification in School Administration from Alabama State University.  At the University of Alabama he was solo trumpet with the Million Dollar Band and was the leader of the Alabama Cavaliers Dance Band.  He also played with the University Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Bradley has a total of 36 years of teaching experience in the public schools in Alabama.  He has served as band director in Selma, Mt. Brook, and Hueytown as well as at Monroe County High School and Monroeville Junior High School in Monroeville.  His bands have consistently received superior ratings in concert competition at the district and state levels as well as superior ratings in marching competitions.  The Monroe County High School band twice received Best in Class awards at the Six Flags Over Georgia Band Competition.
